SAAC Launches New Heritage Totes with SilkAir
Singapore, 5 December 2016 — St. Andrew's Autism Centre (SAAC) is partnering SilkAir to exclusively feature two new tote bags with a cause. Now from till 28 February 2017, passengers on SilkAir flights or visitors to SilkAir's online SkyShop would have the option of purchasing canvas totes entitled Windows to my World and Peaceful Waves that feature artworks by students and clients of SAAC.

Workshop on Effective Strategies for Teaching Students with Autism
Singapore, 12 July 2016 — St. Andrew's Autism Centre (SAAC), in partnership with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), will be hosting a workshop on effective strategies for teaching students with autism on 8 and 9 September 2016. To be held at SAAC's premises at 1 Elliot Road, this will be the first workshop customised for educators and caregivers of students with autism.
DAC Family Day Mini Carnival
Singapore, 25 May 2016 — For the first time, this year’s DAC Family Day, themed “I Am Able”, will include a mini carnival open to members of the public. The carnival will feature games, booths retailing items made by DAC clients or grown through the DAC Urban Farming programme, and a car wash service, for which some of the DAC clients have been trained.
Seminar: ABA as an approach for people with Autism
Singapore, 9 May 2016 — St. Andrew’s Adult Autism Services (SAAAS), a service of St. Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC), is organising a seminar entitled, “Applied Behaviour Analysis as an approach for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder”. Conducted by Dr Rebekah Wood, a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst Doctoral Level since 2005, the seminar will be held at SAAC’s premises at 1 Elliot Road, from 2.30 to 5.00pm on Saturday, 4 June 2016.

Autism Training and Certification Returns to SAAC

To be held at SAAC’s premises at 1 Elliot Road, the sessions in March will be the second time that the course will be take place in Singapore.
