About SAAC
Our Vision:
Enabling persons with autism to lead dignified and meaningful lives.
Our Mission:
Enriching the lives of persons with autism and their families through quality education, training and care, distinguished by Christian love and compassion.
St. Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC) was established in 2005 to meet a growing need to serve persons on the autism spectrum.
We achieve this by enriching their lives and that of their families through quality education, training and care, distinguished by Christian love and compassion. Today, we serve over 470 persons with autism through our Special Education School, 2 Day Activity Centres, and Singapore’s first Residential Home for persons with autism.
At SAAC, we hold our values of Love, Integrity, Growth, Honour, and Teamwork very close to our hearts. We believe that everyone deserves to live a life filled with purpose and meaning, and we strive to make that a reality for our beneficiaries and their families.

Teamwork
By combining our diverse strengths and collective ability, we can elevate outcomes and impact for our beneficiaries.
Our History

We began our journey in 2005 as an interim service in response to a need to serve a growing number of individuals with autism.
Through the years, we expanded our services, including the St. Andrew’s Autism School (SAAS) and Day Activity Centres (DAC).
In 2010, our permanent home at 1 Elliot Road was completed, and officially opened in 2011 by the then Singapore President, SR Nathan.
In his message, President Nathan noted,
“Even as Singapore progresses, we have to be mindful to leave no one behind.”
It was in this same spirit that we started St. Andrew’s Adult Home (SAAH) in 2019, providing long-term care for adults with autism.
Today, we continue to grow and evolve, striving to provide quality services and support to persons with autism and their families.
Autism lasts a lifetime. No one should walk that journey alone.
SAAC is a service of St. Andrew’s Mission Hospital, a recipient of the Charity Transparency Award from 2022 to 2024.
