1. What is the impact of my giving?
Your support is more than just a donation—it’s an investment in a lifetime of possibilities for individuals with autism.
- $50 per month: Provides 1 beneficiary with a community outing to promote inclusion
- $100 per month: Support 1 training session for 34 beneficiaries to develop community living skills
- $300 per month: Provides 1 resident staying at St. Andrew’s Adult Home with 3 meals a day for 1 month
2. What are the payment methods for the GEM Programme?
You may contribute via credit card or GIRO.
For Credit Card donations: If you choose credit card, simply sign up on the G.E.M. Programme page and your first donation will be processed immediately. Future deductions will occur on the same date each month.
For GIRO donations: For GIRO donation, you may download the GIRO form and mail it to SAAC. The bank may take between 1-2 months to process the application. Upon successful application, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. Monthly deductions will be carried out between the 20th to 30th of every month.
3. When will my credit card first deduction be charged?
Your first deduction will happen on the day you sign up and all future donations will be processed on the same date each month. For example, if you donate on the 15th of June, your next donation will be on the 15th of July and so on.
4. Will I receive a receipt for my donation, for tax purposes?
Yes! After every successful donation, you will receive a confirmation email. As part of our Go Green initiative, we now issue e-receipts instead of printed ones. Your yearly tax-deductible statement will be emailed to you by February of the following year. If you need a physical copy, just let us know by emailing [email protected].
5. What happens if my application or monthly deduction is rejected?
Credit Card Applications
For credit card donations, we will try again one week later if the first attempt fails and we will notify you by email. If your card details change, please update us at [email protected]
GIRO Applications
For GIRO donations, make sure your bank details and signature match your bank records to avoid delays. Kindly note that any amendments made on the donation form must be countersigned.
6. What if I need to make changes to my giving?
We understand that circumstances change. If you would like to update your donation amount or payment method at any time, you may send us an email at [email protected]. Our Donor Management Team will be happy to assist you with any changes.
7. What if I am a current monthly donor with SAAC and I would like to enroll into the GEM programme?
Thank you for your ongoing support—as a monthly donor you are automatically already part of the GEM programme!
If you would like to increase your impact, you may sign up again with your new donation amount on our GEM page. Once approved, your previous monthly donation will stop and it will be replaced with the new monthly amount.
8. What happens if I want to stop my recurring donation?
We will be sad to see you go, but if you really have to stop your recurring donations to St. Andrew’s Autism Centre, you may contact our Donor Management Team at [email protected].

- If you wish to receive 250% tax deduction, do include your NRIC/FIN/UEN
- Upon successful application, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. Monthly deductions will be carried out the same date from the first donation of the subsequent month.
GIRO
- Download this GIRO form and mail it to SAAC.
- The bank may take between 1-2 months to process the application.
